The Note: Fig 🌱✶⋆🍈。⋆💚
Lush, leafy, luminous
Remember Fig Newtons? They were like the “healthy dessert” of the ‘90s even though they aren’t remotely healthy. Honestly, Fig Newtons were basically my only exposure to figs until my 20s, when I discovered the joy of eating dried figs and more importantly for our purposes—fig perfume! I was very laissez faire with fragrance in my 20s and wore this one fig scent that I bought at Anthropologie for years. I can’t even remember what it was called or who made it. But it smelled divine. (If anyone reading wore a fig fragrance from Anthropologie around 2006-2010, please let me know in the comments!) Anyway, luckily my olfactory tastes have since refined and expanded. Now I’d call myself something of a fig connoisseur. Here are 10 fig perfumes I find infinitely more exciting than a Fig Newton.
Quick note: I now have a 🛍️ShopMy🛍️, where I’m curating fragrances and other obsessions. Here, I rounded up the available fig perfumes from the list below if you’d like to smell along. (Also check out my 💘 ride or die fragrances💘 and 🌹rose shop🌹 ;).
